FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I get on a waiting list?
A waiting list is closed until further notice. I usually work under the "first come, first serve" rule, however commissions with a deadline are priority. If there is no deadline, the usual wait could take weeks, if not months before I reach back up to you. If there is a deadline, I might squeeze you in between the commissions that do not have one (this applies to authors especially), but there is no guarantee. Please don't hesitate to ask whether your deadline fits into my schedule.
How long does it take you to complete a commission?
I usually give myself a minimum of 3 weeks for a single commission, depending on complexity and whether there is a deadline given. Bear in mind that you will be charged a "rush fee" if the deadline is very close for a bigger project, please do not hesitate to ask if you are looking to get something completed in a shorter time frame.
(commercial) Will you charge me an extra fee if the artwork is used for other purposes than agreed?
Yes. And another contract should be signed in which it states for what other purpose you are going to use it for.
Do I need to provide references for my commission?
Yes. If it is a specific scene or character any descriptions of it/them, as well as the surroundings, character position, quotes, lines etc., will be appreciated. Clients usually provide a full Google Doc/brief with all the info. After all, I want to create the artwork as close as you have it in mind, unless you give me creative freedom.
You are out of my budget, can I still commission you?
No. As creating illustrations is my full time job, I am not open to negotiate prices and therefore will stick to the ones provided. I‘ll think about it in case your budget is close to the original price.
I want to commission you, but I don't have the funds/resources yet, can I still contact you?
Yes. You can always contact me if you have any questions.
Do you do NSFW art?
Yes. Just make sure the characters are of legal age and are not animals.
